This is where I vent out my love and frustration with travels and people I've met abroad...as well as share my experiences.
Prague, Czech Republic
I moved to Prague in October 2003 to take a month long TEFL course to become an English as a Foreign language teacher. I lived in Prague for a year and a four months teaching at a private pre-school and a public middle school. I left in late 2004 because of a family emergency that caused me to reevaluate my location and then decided to chase warmer climates.
Ho Chi Minh City / Da Nang, Vietnam
I lived in Vietnam for a total of over three years. Ho Chi Minh City: 2005 - 2007, Danang: 2009 - 2010, and again Ho Chi Minh City: 2011. Here I taught for two language schools, ILA Vietnam (HCMC) and ELI Danang. My experiences here have really broadened my scope of life (and my taste for food!).
Tokyo, Japan
In 2009 and 2010 I worked for Westgate Japan to teach English at Universities in the Tokyo/Yokohama area. I taught at Yokohama College of Commerce in Yokohama and Showa Women's University in Tokyo. Both were extremely rewarding experiences and each time I returned to Japan I learned to love it that much more.
